Competitive Market Analysis
That's the question, isn't it. What actually is my home worth?
Growing up, my Father always said, "Something is worth what someone will pay for it." Right. But that's not especially helpful in this situation.
So how do we find out what your home is worth? I like to give my clients options, so here are two for you.
Quick Hit Valuation
This is the quick and painless method. Sure, it's not as accurate as a thorough CMA (see below), but you don't have to have some Realtor traipsing through your family room or analyzing your HVAC.
Just fill out the form to the right (make sure to include your address!) and any major updates you've done and I'll do the rest!

Now, if you need a more accurate answer, you'll need a CMA. A CMA stands for many things. Some call it a Current Market Analysis. Others a Comparative Market Analysis or even a Competitive Market Analysis. Confusing right? Not really. They're all basically the same thing. It's the process by which a real estate agent, not an appraiser, determines the value of a given piece of property.
CMA's can be done quickly or they can take a great deal of time and energy. When I do mine, I use the "manual adjusted" methodology, which is known to be the most accurate. It's also the most time consuming. But if you'd like me to create one for your property, all you have to do is ask.
