Most areas saw a drop in home sale activity during November 2011. Prices would slightly down with a few exceptions—most notably Areas 8 and 9. This past 3 year span has seen the largest drop in home values going back for decades. Sellers are being forced to make a tough decision while buyers are grabbing up bargains.

Monthly Reports: Period Ending November 2011
This area performed fairly well for November with sales up over the same period last year and home prices just under the trend-line.
Area 3 has cooled a bit after some strong months. Both sales and values are down but not to a large degree.
Area 6 is seeing a bit of life after an abysmal start to the year, this is the 4th straight month for improved home sales. Home prices also jumped moving the trend higher.
Down month for this area as home price continue their downward slide. Activity was just behind 2010.
Terrible month for Area 8 with a huge drop in the median home price for properties sold during the month. Home sales activity also dropped behind.
After a string of strong months, Area 9 saw some adjustment as both sales and activity dropped during November.
Slightly better month compared to last year for this area as homes sold inched out a victory.
After a strong August and September, Area 21 activity has stalled. Home prices also dipped below the trend-line.
