Louisville Real Estate Charts for February 2015

Map of Louisville MLS AreasWelcome to our Louisville real estate charts for February 2015. It’s a very mixed bag this go around with some areas showing surprising growth in activity while others lag behind.

The biggest winners this month were Area 3 and even Area 2 where we saw positive movement on home sales despite bad weather. Values are moving higher across most of the city and this trend should continue well into the Spring and Summer.

Better than expected home sales but this while home prices dipped to their lowest levels since February of last year.

Fairly good month for Area 3, especially home values which continue to surge higher. Home sales for the Highlands market barely edged out the previous year.

Homes sales for this MLS area didn’t live up to the previous year but home values moved higher as inventory continues to dwindle.

Just a decent month for real estate in Area 7. 83 homes were sold on the area for the month, better than last year by two properties. Home values fell for the month but are expected to improve going forward.

Area 8 saw the exact same number of homes sold this February as last. Values are trending higher, as with most of the Louisville market.

Home sales for the month were up by 16 units marking a solid month. Values dipped lower as the trend is holding steady for the past year.

The big story here is how value continue their upward climb. It’s really quite remarkable but new construction does play a greater than average role here. Sales did disappoint for February.

Strong month for Area 21, especially in home sales. Values continue to move higher and set the stage for a stronger than average Spring.
