Only in August did they actually <em>tie<\/em>. That was until November, for the first time Louisville home sales decreased compared to the previous year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\">Jefferson County Homes Sold during&nbsp;November<\/h2>\n\n\n\n<pre class=\"wp-block-preformatted\">2005    863\n2006    851\n2007    732\n2008    490\n2009    818\n2010    546\n2011    623\n2012    731\n2013    778\n2014    722\n2015    714\n<\/pre>\n\n\n\n<p>Could it be that the <strong>ultra-low<\/strong> housing inventory in Louisville is finally affecting home sales? I&#8217;d say it&#8217;s certainly part of it. It could be the biggest reason. But it could also be that after an above-average year, everyone who wanted to purchase their new home has already done so.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Last year, there were actually <em>more<\/em> homes sold during December, 782 properties, than in November so it&#8217;ll be interesting to see if that trend follows suit, because it typically does not.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Overall though, 2015 has been a <strong>surprisingly strong year<\/strong> for home sales in Louisville. What will 2016 hold?
