But that doesn&#8217;t mean every park has amenities for our four-legged friends. Visit these parks first!<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">1. <a rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" href=\"https:\/\/parks.ky.gov\/louisville\/parks\/recreation\/ep-tom-sawyer-state-park\" target=\"_blank\">Sawyer Dog Park<\/a> <\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>3000 Freys Hill Road<\/strong><br>First on our list of best Louisville dog parks is this one. Your furry family members will love the six-acre set-up at Sawyer Dog Park. Large dogs and small dogs have separate off-leash play areas. Everyone has a nice rest spot for when you need a break. If you and your pup are feeling more adventurous, check out the wooded trails!. Then finish up with a long drink from one of the plentiful buckets of water. If you\u2019re feeling a bit tired, check out the comfortable benches and shaded pavilions for a relaxing break. <br><br>While Champions Run is slightly smaller than some of the other Louisville dog parks, it tends to be quieter and less busy. This is a good option for those who prefer a less crowded park for their outings. <\/p>\n\n\n\n<h3 class=\"wp-block-heading\">3. <a href=\"http:\/\/louisvilledogs.netfirms.com\/cochranhill.html\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" aria-label=\" (opens in a new tab)\">Cochran Hill Dog Park<\/a><\/h3>\n\n\n\n<p><strong>740 Cochran Hill Road<\/strong><br>Whether you have big or little dogs, Cochran Hill Dog Park has a place for your friendly fur buds to get wild. Cochran Hill has two full acres of space! There&#8217;s a double off-leash dog run with separate areas for big and little dogs with plenty of space to get those sniffs and runs in. If you forgot to bring a toy, don\u2019t worry: There will be plenty provided for your pup to use, including balls, tug-of-war ropes, and others.<br><br>As always, it\u2019s important to be a good dog park citizen and clean up after your furry friends. It&#8217;s also important to remember to keep interactions civil. This spacious, off-leash dog park includes lots of toys for dogs to share and waste bags if you forgot yours or just need a spare. The fenced-in wood-chipped ground minimizes mud mess, and water is available for thirsty pups.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Dog Park Etiquette<\/strong><\/h2>\n\n\n\n<p>Before heading out to any Louisville dog park, it\u2019s important to remember a few rules.
