But for a city where <a href=\"https:\/\/trepryor.com\/blog\/average-home-appreciation-for-louisville-kentucky\/\" data-type=\"link\" data-id=\"https:\/\/trepryor.com\/blog\/average-home-appreciation-for-louisville-kentucky\/\">home appreciation has run 4%-5% annually<\/a>, any kind of departure from that trend isn&#8217;t expected or welcome.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<!--more-->\n\n\n\n<p>I read this in the CJ today:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<blockquote class=\"wp-block-quote is-layout-flow wp-block-quote-is-layout-flow\">\n<p>The weak performance continued a downward trend of the past several months, and pushed the area&#8217;s year-to-date median price decline to 3.6 percent<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n<p>Some are predicting a rebound in 1Q of &#8217;09 but others say the worst is yet to come.
