According to a National Association of Realtors survey, the following are the top remodeling trends for 2011<\/a>. These aren’t specific home improvement projects but more like mindsets and attitudes towards a homeowner improving their property.<\/p>\n

  3. Warming Up The House<\/li>\n
  4. Getting Decked Out<\/li>\n
  5. Hiring A Great Contractor<\/li>\n
  6. Paying in Cash<\/li>\n
  7. Opening Up Rooms<\/li>\n
  8. Bronze Age<\/li>\n
  9. Going Green<\/li>\n
  10. Industrial Flair<\/li>\n
  11. Creating Relaxation Space<\/li>\n
  12. Planning Ahead<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

    As this relates to Louisville real estate, I’ve seen several of these in action. If I had to create the Top 5 Louisville Remodeling Trends mine would look like this.<\/p>\n

    2. Updating Kitchens<\/li>\n
    3. Finishing Basements<\/li>\n
