Louisville new construction<\/strong> is still working to get out of the basement, so to speak. Here at Louisville Homes Blog, we’ve been talking about how new construction has been improving<\/a> but honestly, there was nowhere to go but up<\/em>!<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Over on Insider, I wrote that 2010-12 saw very few new construction permits being pulled. This year’s count is sure to surpass 2012.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

I feel it’s safe to say that 2013 has been better than last year.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

It makes sense to see the Home Builders Association of Louisville (HBAL) promote new construction at every opportunity. Here’s a recent press release talking about the benefits of buying a 2014 Homearama home which is still 6 months off.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

Buyers who choose to make their next home a Homearama home can receive the benefits of substantial upgrades to rooms such as bedrooms, bathrooms, kitchens and entertainment spaces, at a fraction of the cost! One can literally save $10,000 to $80,000 by building a Homearama home versus building the same home with the high-end finishes outside of the home showcase event.<\/p>\n<\/blockquote>\n\n\n\n

It’s been my experience that Louisville home buyers do<\/em> get a bigger bang for their buck<\/strong> when it comes to purchasing one of these showcase properties due to the material donations.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
