Germantown is a neighborhood in Louisville just East of downtown and west of The Highlands and Tyler Park. Developed around the turn of the previous century, homes can range from modest shotgun-styles, to camelbacks, to craftsmans and even a few more modern houses built more recently. It's generally very affordable in terms of Louisville housing. Homes are smaller but a few have been overbuilt over the years to become larger properties. Similar to Clifton, Germantown has close proximty to get shops and restaurants.
