This newly built home is representative of the kind of houses being built in Heather Green. Mostly traditional with some French flare as seen in the curved roofline in the center gable. Accenting with complimentary stone adds so much!
Lots are a bit larger in this neighborhood. Land prices decrease as you move away from the City of Louisville. This home has an incredible, open floorplan as soon as you enter the front door with two stone fireplaces. My clients were very happy to purchase this Heather Green home.
This home was custom-built for the owners by David Landis with Landis Homes. Every client I've spoken to love his work. With Louisville having such a large number of home builders, it's good to know which ones are receiving high praise from their customers.
The original manor house on this large tract of property can be seen in this shot. It's been well cared for and fits nicely into the neighborhood, which isn't always the case with new developments.
Here you see an all-brick, traditional home given a more country feel with a coat of yellow paint. Because it's on a cul-de-sac, it has an even larger back yard which runs up to a small local farm.
A large pond at the front the subdivision complete with a fountain is a great landmark for neighbors to see as they walk and bike the sidewalks of Heather Green. Several homes back right up to this lake, which enhances the views out their rear windows.
